The whole school is invited to celebrate the end of the year and our graduating class. The graduation ceremony will be followed by students singing songs for the audience.

Mandatory Corporation Meeting
As a non-profit corporation we are required to hold an annual meeting of the members. A report on the past year is given and the next year's Board of Directors are elected. Both parents are encouraged to attend however only 1 parent is required to attend. Each family has 1 vote. Childcare is not provided during the Corporation Meeting. A fine of $50 will be assessed for any families not in attendance.

HRNS Family Reunion
Catch up with old friends and see how they’ve grown while the HRNS family comes together for its first ever HRNS Family reunion. All current and former HRNS students and staff are invited to join us as we enjoy lunch, play on the grounds, and tell old stories from its 66 year history.

Pastries with Parents & Grandparents
Parents and loved ones are invited to join us at the beginning of the school day for some pastries, a craft activity, and play time. Come for the donuts, stay for the gaggle of adorable toddlers.

Boots and Bling - Annual Auction
Join us in your best Boots N Bling to benefit Hastings Ranch Nursery School at our annual fundraiser! This year we will be saddling up and heading to historic Santa Anita Park! Our al fresco evening in the Paddock will be complete with line dancing, photo ops, and fun! There will be an open bar as well as food featuring Santa Anita’s famous carved sandwiches!
Whether you prefer jeans and a flannel, your Wyatt Earp duster coat or some sparkly cowboy boots, we can’t wait to see you April 10 for this hoedown u set the stars!

Egg Hunt
Bring in six filled plastic eggs (no candies) and the kids will have an egg hunt out in the big lawn. Afterwards, enjoy treats with your teachers and fellow classmates.

Mindful Parenting & Teaching Strategies
Come learn about child brain functioning and how, through relationships with parents and teachers, children can stay regulated, access their frontal lobe, and do better with following directions, learning, and communicating.



Chinese New Year Celebration
The kids will celebrate Chinese New Year and go on a brief parade around the school.

“An Ounce of Prevention” A Safety Presentation for Parents and Caregivers
A 90 minute comprehensive power point presentation designed to teach parents and caregivers vital strategies and skills designed to keep children safe from predators, including 10 Family Safety Rules, 10 Red Flags and Warning Signs, 20 Prevention Tips and Guidelines for teaching children.

Pancake Breakfast and Registration
Registration for the 2020-21 year is already here! Registration begins today, turn in the forms in person and eat your stress with pancakes.

Snow Ball Toss
Have the kids bring in used tissue wrapping paper. They will make balls out of them and have a snow ball toss outside!

Movie Night with Santa and Toy Drive
Join us for a movie, meet Santa, and donate a toy to the Friends of Foster Families!
Bring an unwrapped toy and take a photo with Santa starting at 5:30.
Snacks and popcorn are available.

Stone Soup Celebration
Bring something to add to the soup! Kids will get to add to and taste test a delicious and unique soup.
The feast will be highlighted by the kids singing some Thanksgiving songs to celebrate.
