Week of October 11-17
Seusstival
The Seusstival was fun for the whole family. From the Oh, the Places You'll Go Maze to the Face-painting to the Class booths based on Dr. Seuss books, this co-operative community came together, along with local sponsors to host an exciting Family festival. With guests visits from the local fire department and the Cat in the Hat this fundraising event will be talked about for years to come.
Parents spoke and we heard them say this event was "very good". They enjoyed the variety of games and activities, the enjoyed the theme and the diversity of booths. We also heard them say that: in the future they would enjoy it in October or November, they would like clarification on the ticket system and the heat to be considered to name a few.
Thank you to everyone who participated before, during and after the event to make it a huge success!
HRNS Family Festival Chair and Planning Team
Every week seems to be flying by; I guess that is what happens when you are having fun! This week on Tuesday evening we have our monthly Board of Directors Meeting, if you are interested in the happenings of our school come check it out.
Also on Tuesday and Wednesday we will be practicing our first Lock Down Drill. It will begin at 9:00 am; all children must be at school before 9:00 am as they will not be allowed to enter into the classrooms during the drill. We will explain to the children in an age appropriate way what the purpose of the drill is. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call the office.
Picture Days are coming up, make sure to keep an eye out for picture forms! See you all this week!
