Meet Catherine Yu, mom of Parker Wong - Red Door MWF AM

BOARD POSITION: Parent Participation - AM

Setting up and sending up SignUpGenius invitations for the AM classes and posting the finalized schedules in the classrooms for the teachers.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING ON THE BOARD AND YOUR POSITION ON THE BOARD?

Knowing that I've contributed to something in the classrooms.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO BE ON THE BOARD?

Because I was asked to be on the board and I knew I could contribute to the school.

WHY DO YOU LOVE HRNS?

Because it's a co-op and it feels like one big community. I feel the parents and teachers and TAs all have our children's best interests at heart.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE HRNS?

I wanted a play-based preschool for Parker. He loved playing in the sand and he ventured off to play on his own during the tour and didn't want to leave when the tour was over.
